A New Chapter Begins at 40 Main Street

If you’re in Downtown Los Altos today, you’ve likely heard the hum of machinery and noticed the hubbub around the north end of Main Street. Today, July 16, 2025 marks the official beginning of our journey. The original structure at 40 Main Street is being cleared to make way for something extraordinary. It is a day of high energy, careful precision, and new beginnings.

It's Demolition Day! It is the physical manifestation of a "fresh start." As the excavators work, we are watching the original site transform into a blank canvas upon which we will build a new landmark for our community.

While it is a moment of change, our team is focused on ensuring the transition is smooth, safe, and respectful of our vibrant downtown neighborhood.
